DAY 3

On Day 3, participants continuing to raise awareness on environmental sustainability. The walk was met with enthusiastic support from local communities, with children and locals cheering on the participant.

Dr. Albert Tetteh Botchway, SGF-Ghana’s Board Chairman, inspired the group with messages of collective responsibility. Along the route, walkers engaged in discussions about protecting natural resources and combating deforestation.

The day concluded with celebrations, including local music and dance, as the walkers were reminded of their shared purpose in advocating for social change. The energy and unity of the group remained strong, motivating everyone to continue their journey toward Accra.

DAY 4

Dr. Albert Tetteh Botchway inspired the group once again, reminding them that collective action is key to protecting the country and encouraging everyone to contribute to a peaceful election. The day ended with a sense of unity and determination, as participants were more motivated than ever to continue advocating for Peace in the 2024 elections.

DAY 5

On Day 5 at Suhum, the day began with a lively walk through the community, where locals, including youth groups and families, joined in to show their support for the cause.

The Peace Walk, which began on Friday, November 22nd, 2024, at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi, is set to conclude at the Ga Mantse Palace in Accra. This marks the climax of the Peace Gathering 2024 (PG 2024), where the hikers will deliver a Peace Message from His Royal Majesty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The initiative, also seeks not only to promote peaceful coexistence during this crucial period but also to educate individuals and all stakeholders on the need to have trust in our judicial system, recognizing its role in resolving electoral disputes effectively.
