The Scout and Guide Fellowship of Ghana supports and works in cooperation with various organizations at national and international level:

ISGF – AISG: www.isgf.org

The International Scout and Guide Fellowhip (ISGF) is a global organization for adults in support of Scouting and Guiding and who wish to strengthen dialogue between communities through community-oriented projects around the world. ISGF was founded in 1953 with the backing of WOSM and WAGGGS, and has representation in 106 countries on five continents. It is open to both former members of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) and the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM), as well as to adults who did not have the opportunity to be Scouts or Guides when they were children.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and our global organization – ISGF-AISG – has for several years maintained a global cooperation agreement for the development of joint humanitarian projects in which our national organisation provides its full support to the extent of its possibilities.

Guiding in Ghana was launched in Accra in 1921 and spread to towns and villages all over the country during the next 20 years. In 1930 the Association’s headquarters were built in Accra, and since 1945 cadet companies have been established in schools around the country. The Ghana Girl Guides Association , as a Member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) , aims to not only speak on behalf of girls and young women around the world, but also empower them to speak for themselves.

The Ghana Scout Association is an educational organisation composed of girls, boys, young people and adults committed to the Scout lifestyle, their religion, the construction of peace, the defense of Human Rights, the self-affirmation of the human person, the care of interpersonal relationships and respect for the environment, proud to belong for the values ​​they share.
The Ghana Scout Association works responsibly in the promotion for the development of the community, provoking social transformation through personal growth, and shared projects and spaces as a result of the fulfillment of the Mission.
Recognized for its prestige in educational action and its ability to learn by doing; that provides equal opportunities; with a proposal, inclusive, dynamic, participatory and attractive for children and young people, worthy of being supported by the community.

AISG España – Federación de Scouts y Guías Adultos: www.aisg.es

AISG España is the official federation of Scouts and Adult Guides of Spain. It gathers more than 400 adults all over almost the entire national territory, and is currently working to organize the next 29th ISGF-ISGF World Conference to be held in Madrid in 2020. The Scout and Guide Fellowship of Ghana and AISG España cooperate for the development of several strategic projects of training, growth and institutional promotion.

The Cervantes Program is an international program of cooperation, development and promotion among Spanish-speaking Scouts and Adult Guides. Previously it was known as ‘Cervantes Project’, but given its growth and extension it has become a permanent program that carries out several projects simultaneously.
The International Commission of the Federation of Scouts and Adult Guides of Spain (AISG España) coordinates this program, as well as its related projects and activities. This website had been developed with the support of the Cervantes Program.
